Terms of Service for Apopka Concrete Contractors

Last Updated: December 2025

Welcome to Apopka Concrete Contractors. When you hire us for your concrete project, these straightforward terms explain what we'll do, what we ask of you, and how we work together.

By moving forward with a consultation, approving our quote, or starting your project, you're agreeing to work with us under these terms.

What We Do

We handle all types of concrete work for homes and businesses in the Apopka area:

  • Driveways and parking areas

  • Patios and outdoor living spaces

  • Walkways and sidewalks

  • Foundation slabs

  • Concrete repairs and resurfacing

  • Decorative finishes and stamped patterns

  • Custom projects we discuss together

Every job gets professional-grade materials and proven installation techniques.

Getting Your Quote

Free Project Assessment — Most projects qualify for a no-cost estimate. What we quote is based on what we can see and what you tell us. If we discover something unexpected once we start, we'll talk to you before making changes.

Quote Validity — Your written quote stays good for 30 days. After that, material costs or scheduling might change.

Project Changes — Want to add or modify something after we've agreed on the scope? No problem, but we'll need to adjust the price accordingly and get your approval first.

Scheduling Your Project

When We Start — We'll give you our best estimate for start and finish dates, but concrete work depends on weather conditions, material deliveries, and crew availability. We can't lock in exact dates, but we'll keep you informed.

Weather Happens — Rain, extreme heat, freezing temps, or unsafe conditions will pause your project. This protects the quality of your concrete and our crew's safety. Weather delays are just part of outdoor construction—not a broken promise.

What We Need From You

To keep your project running smoothly, please:

  • Give us complete and accurate project details

  • Make sure we can access the work area easily

  • Handle any HOA approvals or permits (unless we've agreed to do this)

  • Move cars, equipment, or anything blocking the workspace

  • Keep kids, pets, and guests clear of the construction zone for safety

If these things don't happen, it might delay your project or cost extra to work around obstacles.

How Payment Works

Deposit — Most projects need a deposit before we order materials or reserve your spot on the schedule. Your quote shows the exact amount.

Final Payment — The rest is due when we finish the job, unless your contract says something different.

How to Pay — We accept cash, checks, and other methods we'll discuss with you.

If Payment's Late — We don't like to be the bad guys, but unpaid bills can lead to work stoppage, late charges, property liens, or collection proceedings.

Understanding Concrete

Concrete is a natural building material that changes as it cures and settles. Here's what's completely normal:

  • Hairline cracks may appear—it's just how concrete behaves

  • Color might vary slightly across the surface

  • Some areas may look a shade darker or lighter

  • Weather, ground moisture, and soil conditions affect the finished look

  • Texture won't be perfectly identical everywhere

We deliver quality craftsmanship every time, but we can't control how concrete naturally cures. These characteristics aren't defects—they're part of working with real concrete.

Our Workmanship Promise

Depending on your specific project, we may include a workmanship warranty. If so, you'll see the details in your written agreement.

What's Not Covered:

  • Damage from chemicals, accidents, abuse, or excessive weight

  • Cracks from ground shifting, soil erosion, or settling

  • Staining, fading, or color changes over time

  • Damage from vehicles too heavy for the installation

Dealing With Surprises Underground

Sometimes what's below the surface isn't what we expected:

  • Soil quality, moisture levels, or buried debris can affect the work

  • Discovering hidden issues might require extra labor or materials

  • We're not responsible for unmarked or incorrectly marked utility lines

  • If something unexpected comes up, we'll stop, explain your options, and wait for your go-ahead before continuing

Reasonable Limits on Liability

We stand behind our work, but there are fair limits:

  • We're not responsible for indirect damages or consequential losses

  • Our financial responsibility caps at what you paid for your specific project

  • We can't be held liable for delays caused by weather, material shortages, or other things beyond our control

These protections are standard in the construction industry and allowed under Florida law.

If You Need to Cancel

Plans change—we get it. If you need to cancel:

  • Let us know as quickly as possible

  • Deposits may not be refundable if we've already bought materials or started work

  • Depending on timing, a cancellation fee might apply

When We Might Stop Work

We reserve the right to pause or end a project if:

  • The job site becomes unsafe

  • You don't provide access or necessary information

  • Payments aren't made as agreed

  • These terms are violated

We'd rather work things out, but sometimes stopping is the right call for everyone.

Legalities

These terms follow Florida state law. If there's ever a dispute we can't resolve together, it'll be handled in Florida courts.

Updates to These Terms

We might refine these terms occasionally. When we do, the new version takes effect right away.
